Terms and conditions

ALL SALES ARE FINAL

All sales are final. No returns are accepted. In the event of a refund, a 30% restocking fee will be applied to cover the costs of caring for and handling the fish.

SHIPPING SCHEDULE

GenteBettaTampa ships every Monday through Wednesday via USPS Priority Mail. By placing an order, you confirm that you will be available to receive the package. We are not responsible if the customer is unavailable to receive the shipment.

LIVE ARRIVAL GUARANTEE — DOA

In the event of a DOA (Dead on Arrival), the buyer must submit a photograph of the fish inside the unopened bag within the first hour after delivery. The delivery time recorded by the shipping carrier's tracking system will be verified. No exceptions will be made.

Refunds will be issued as store credit toward a future purchase. Shipping costs are non-refundable.

MARBLE GENE (MARBLING)

All bettas are considered capable of carrying the marble gene. Colors such as Koi, Marble, Butterfly, and other similar variations may change after the fish has been photographed.

GenteBettaTampa is not responsible for color changes that occur after the official product photograph has been taken. If a significant color change occurs before shipping, we will contact you.

FIN NIPPING

Long-finned betta varieties may bite or damage their fins during transportation. GenteBettaTampa is not responsible for any fin damage that occurs during shipping.

BETTA CARE

It is the buyer's responsibility to provide a suitable environment for the fish, including clean water, a temperature between 78–82 °F (25.5–27.8 °C), and high-quality food.

MidWest Bettas is not responsible for negligence or improper care on the part of the buyer. Our bettas are premium-quality imported specimens and may be more sensitive than fish purchased from chain pet stores.

RESERVATIONS / HOLDS

We do not offer reservations or holds. Please place an order only if you are prepared to receive the fish the following Monday after placing your order.
